Operation of storage racks

1. Conventional racks

(1) Operation process

A) Fork truck loading pallet into tray pallet storage location.

B) The driver opens the fork lift truck and puts the tray horizontally into the compartments between the columns.

C) The driver considers the position of the pallet girder to place the pallet accurately into the appropriate depth of the rack (no contact with the girder until the pallet is lowered).

D) Carefully reduce the tray, place it on the beam, and unload the load from the fork lift truck. When the pallet is in contact with the beam, the tray shall not be allowed to slide or pull on the supporting member.

E) The driver removes the forklift from the tray and drops it to the ground.

2. Changes in storage racks

The changes of storage racks mainly include the following aspects:

A) Installation site.

B) Height of beam.

C) The number of beams.

D) The maximum unit load.

E) Load placement and loading mode.

F) The form of component connection.

When the storage racks change, we should do the following:

A) Changes in storage racks will cause safety carrying capacity. The original supplier should be evaluated and operated.

B) When storage racks change, they should be unloaded.

C) After the completion of all changes in the rack structure, safety signs of change should be replaced.

D) For storage racks with back supports, when the position of the beam changes, the position of the support nodes should be changed, and the horizontal support between the beams should be relocated.

E) Storage racks shall not be added or altered by welding or bolting unless approved by the warehouse rack designer.

3. Storage tools

Loading shall be carried out according to the loading method stipulated by the supplier, and shall not exceed the maximum load specified by the supplier.

We should ensure that we are in good working condition and have enough strength.

The size, type and tolerance should match the storage rack structure.
